Malinda Reich

Malinda Reich is a ceramic artist who’s work in clay encompasses sculpture and functional table wares. Her pieces balance form with function, and often feature distinctive, intricate hand carving with a satisfying, tactile feel.

Building on her experience as an accomplished textile designer, Malinda incorporates a deep knowledge of pattern and texture into her designs, drawing inspiration from the traditional crafts of her native Sweden, as well as from Spain, where she spent part of her childhood. Her work is also influenced by the tradition of applied arts and craftsmanship practiced in early 20th century Vienna, the birthplace of her grandparents.
