The cast bronze feet and hardware are reminiscent of prehistoric stone axes with their worn soft contours. The exterior is entirely covered in richly grained Natural parchment. A parchment stand sits on the top that can be turned over to become a functional tray top. Grey Oak interior drawer lined with soft lie-de-vin nappa leather."

British designer Alexander Lamont has always been interested in enigmatic textures, forms and materials; “surfaces that call out to be touched”.
