Acadia Low Cabinet

A stunning, signature material created in Alexander’s studio, Autumn Embers Straw is made with layers of straw marquetry in subtle dyed tones that are pressed and abraded to reveal deep layers and cross-currents of reflective light. Grey Ash brings a muted counterpoint and a golden bamboo interior completes the delicately crafted materials. Knife hinges and rod lock in patinated brass with custom cast feet and key. Back in Grey Ash. Now available also in Ebony Embers straw.

Also, charred tones of ebony in our signature Embers straw lure the hand and eye to explore. Hand-scored lines animated by depth and texture and glowing mahogany interior make a cabinet of refined craftsmanship.

British designer Alexander Lamont has always been interested in enigmatic textures, forms and materials; “surfaces that call out to be touched”.
